NOCSI approves amended constitution in AGM today

The National Olympic Committee of Solomon Islands (NOCSI) has successfully adopted and approved the Amended Constitution today at its Annual General Meeting held at the SIRUF Conference Room.

Other agenda items included the motion for adoption for Baseball & Softball Federation to become a full member, which was approved. 

A statement from NOCSI afternoon this afternoon says the General Assembly also approved the 2020 & 2021 Budget. In addition the members also passed and approved the 2018 Independent Auditor’s report on the NOCSI accounts  which for the first time in a long time has shown an unqualified audit report which shows huge improvements in the management of NOCSI Finance.

Other items that was also tabled and approved include:-

– New NOCSI emblem

– Athletes Commission Terms of Reference 

– NOCSI 2019 Activity Report

The General Assembly also noted that the NOCSI electoral AGM will take place after the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. The AGM was well attended with 25 of the 29 National Federations in attendance
