Mua confirms receiving letter to reshuffle from Health

Minister of Health and Medical Services Dickson Mua has confirmed receiving his letter to reshuffle to another ministry.

“Yes I have received my letter but not sure when to swear in,” Mua told SBMOnline this afternoon.

Certain media reports say Mua will be replacing the Minister of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology (ECCDMM), Dr Culwick Togamana who is going to take his place as the new minister of Health and Medical Services.

Mua said he has accepted the reshuffle though there is a lot to do be done in the ministry.

Mua has been a key figure in the country’s fight to ensure it remains COVID-19 free as the minister of health.

SBMOnline is unable to confirm with Dr Togamana on whether he has accepted the reshuffle. SBMonline further understands that only the two ministers will be swapping positions.
