BREAKING: 1 new COVID-19 case, first 3 positive cases now NEGATIVE

Minister of Health and Medical Services Dr Culwick Togamana has announced one new case of COVID-19 and revealed that the first 3 COVID-19 cases are now negative.

This means that the country now has only one active. The latest case now brings the number of cases recorded in the country to four.

In his COVID-19 Update this afternoon, Dr Togamana said the test results of all the students (returning from Philippines) in quarantine stations have come back negative.

He also revealed that the test results of the first three COVID-19 positive cases have also come back negative.

Dr Togamana also announced that they have diagnosed one other student positive for COVID-19.

He explained that the student was earlier admitted at the NRH isolation unit with COVID-19 symptoms but was tested negative three times and was only picked up in the fourth round of tests. The student was a close contact of the second case who is now negative.

The student is at the isolation unit at the NRH.
