The deadline was extended to November 1 from September 1 as previously announced for public officers to take their jab with those failing to do so will be stood down on half-pay starting on November 1 and will not be allowed into their offices.

Attorney General John Muria Junior in a radio show confirmed this afternoon confirmed that the policy will come into force tomorrow.

He said a circular has already been sent that by Nonmember 1 those that have not been vaccinated will not be allowed to enter their offices/workstations.

Muria confirms that this is the final one.

It is not clear how many public officers have not taken their jabs before the police comes into force.
