A  delegation led by the Chinese Ambassador HE Cai Weiming and caretaker Minister for Health and Medical Services(MHMS) Dr. Culwick Togamana together with officials from MHMS today visited the project site of the new Comprehensive Medical Center in Honiara.

With work targeted to be completed 16 months from its groundbreaking last December, a joint team from CSADI (on-site management team) and Jiangsu Jiangdu Construction Group alongside about 120 local workers have completed the foundation and footing works, as well as the first floor’s framework structure.

Speaking at a briefing event held earlier today, caretaker Minister for Health Dr Culwick Togamana expressed delight in witnessing the project’s progress.

“I am indeed very delighted take time this morning to witness the project’s development and I am optimistic that the contractor would be able to meet the deadline for completion of the hospital within the timeline expected.
