Step-father arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting adopted 4-yr-old son

A 28-year-old step-father has been arrested for allegedly mastbaiting his 4-year-old adopted son whilst on a fishing trip in North West Choiseul last month.

Commissioner of Police told journalists today that the suspect and the boy were going on a fishing trip on June 1 when the incident allegedly happened.

He said when the two returned home, the mother of the child found out there was blood stain on her son’s private part.

“So she undressed him and found out that his private part was injured,” said Mangau.

He said the man was reported to police and was arrested and now detained in Gizo Correctional Centre facing sexual assault charges for sexually assaulting an underage child and for same sex offence.
