Renovation of Tenaru School for Pacific Games 2023

Renovation work to upgrade St Joseph’s Catholic National Secondary School Tenaru for the Pacific Games 2023 commences mid next year.

Officially naming St. Joseph’s Tenaru among Games Village venues for the important regional event, Prime Minister Sogavare said, as Minister for Pacific Games 2023, he will ensure that all venues and facilities for the Pacific Games, including St Joseph’s Tenaru, are ready and completed on time.

“In the middle of next year or so, work on renovating the School Facilities, including amenities, and the Sports field will be carried out to ensure that the facilities and services required are up to standard and be ready for the Pacific Games 2023,” the Prime Minister announced.  

Prime Minister Sogavare sincerely thank the Catholic Archdiocese of Honiara and the School Authorities for allowing St Joseph’s Tenaru to be used as a venue for the Pacific Games 2023. 

Solomon Islands will host the 17^th Pacific Games in Honiara from 19^th November to 2 December 2023.
