PM’s Residence stoned, suspects arrested

Four young people were arrested yesterday for stoning the house of Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare on Friday night.

“Yes I can confirm police have arrested four young people for the stoning of the PM’s residence at Lunga, ” a spokesman for the RSIPF MEDIA UNIT confirmed to Sbmonline this morning.

“Sadly all of them were students,” the spokesman, added.

Reports said the students allegedly stoned the PM’s residence on Friday night. Sbmonline was told that the suspects were arrested by police in different locations across the city.

it was not clear what was the intention behind the shooting incident.

Police is investigating the case.
