Opposition Leader congratulates people of Temotu province
OPPOSITION Leader Hon Matthew Wale has conveyed greetings and congratulations to Temotu province on their Second Appointed Day celebrations.
In a statement today, Hon Wale conveyed warm greetings to the Premier, the Temotu Provincial Assembly, chiefs and the people of Temotu province.
“On behalf of the Parliamentary Opposition Group, I would like to acknowledge the contributions and achievements the province and its people have rendered towards nation-building and economic growth in the country over the years,” Hon Wale said.
The Opposition Leader encouraged the people of Temotu to be always proud of who they are and their contributions to Solomon Islands as a nation.
“I encourage my good people of Temotu province to continue to embrace unity and our diverse multicultural society. As your alternative government, please be assured of our continuous gratitude to the provincial government, chiefs, church leaders, community leaders and the people of Temotu here and abroad,” the Opposition Leader said.
“I wish you all good health and prosperity on this special occasion.”
