Ngella villagers freely transport vaccinators to their communities for vaccination
Ngella people have taken a step forward in their vaccination push by voluntarily picking up nurses or vaccinators to travel to their communities for vaccination.
Premier of Central Province Stanley Manetiva says this is welcoming news as the people have taken the initiative themselves to get vaccinated. He said rather than waiting for the nurses to visit them, the communities come forward and take the vaccinators to their villages.
Vaccination in the Central is paused as they await the central government to remit funds for the rollout to restart.Aside that, Tulagi has experienced a boom in numbers of people coming forward to take their jabs in the past few days. The premier hopes that the latest push will put his province amongst the leaders in terms of the number of people who have been vaccinated.
