CAUSE Project today introduced its new grass cutting team. The grass cutting team is a new initiative added on to the current street cleaning in the main street of Honiara. The grass cutting team will concentrate on cutting grasses only in the main street. The team will work from Poha River in the West side to Alligator of East side.
The team assignment will be 20 days thereafter another new group will be selected and do the same.
The street cleaning in the city is an ongoing activity provided by the project however, they urge individuals to take responsibility in maintaining a clean Honiara City.
CAUSE is a Government of Solomon Islands program and is funded by the World Bank and the Australian Government through the Papua New Guinea and Pacific Islands Umbrella Facility (PPIUF) Multi-Donor Trust Fund.
