Police have confirmed that five people were killed over-night in one of the horrific accidents to occur on our roads.

“Yes we can confirm that five people were killed over night around the Tenaru Bridge,” a spokesman for the RSIPF Media Unit says.

Police however said they will release further details about the accident.

Sources told SBMOnline that the accident involved a land-cruizer.
