Why me? Bubulu questions why his posters pulled down

A candidate contesting the East Honiara seat Peter K. Bubulu has expressed grave concern following the pulldown of his posters and wants clarification from the Solomon Islands Electoral Commission.

“If I may ask whether this is right thing to do. These are my posters @Kukum pulled down for the second time.If I may have clarification from the Electoral,” Bubulu said in a post.

He has allowed that SBMOnline use his post for this purpose.

‘There is something that my team realised that among other posters only my posters are targetted and seems to be missing or pulled down along Vura road to Kukum shops,” he said.

The candidate claims to know those who pulled down his posters.

Posters of candidates are pinned on streets, shops and in public space as the election gets closer on April 17^th.

Eight candidates are contesting the East Honiara seat.
