The former Opposition Leader said the future of Solomon Islands is in the hands of the youths in this country.

“You can make a difference and the time is now,” he said.

Mr Wale said youths are the ones that will bear most of the suffering that comes from not addressing the challenges facing Solomon Islands now.

“The challenges before us will befall you to address, if we do not address them now. But we can address them now,” he said.

Mr Wale said youths have a strong voice and they should make it count on April 17th during the National General Elections.

“When you vote CARE, you vote to address them now. All of the policy proposals in education, health and job creation by the CARE coalition are aimed at empowering youths,” he said.

The former Opposition Leader also challenged women to rise up and make their voices count.

He said for far too long women have been taken for granted.
