“The man has been remanded in custody on a holding charge of wilful and unlawful destruction to property pursuant to section 326 of the Penal Code this week. He is expected to appear in the Honiara Central Magistrates’ Court on 10 December 2019.”

“The arrest of the man is a result of hard work by my investigators and assistance from members of the surrounding community in providing information to police. I want to thank the police investigators and members of the communities who assisted police,” says PPC Manetoga.

PPC Manetoga appeals to communities in the Visale area on North West Guadalcanal to assist the police with more information if any other person was involved in the planning and destruction of the solar panel.
