Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Malaita Province, Superintendent Leslie Kili says, “The Bank South Pacific (BSP) matter is under investigation and my investigators are working behind the scene on this matter.”

Kili says: “The use of unknown sources in the article is not helpful. It does not have any credibility on the story. Good to practice basic journalism in reporting.”

He says, “Police will ascertain the ones who were involved in the vandalism of the BSP in Auki. We have collected a few statements on key witnesses that present during the incident.”

“I call on the BSP in Auki to cooperate with the police and stop misleading our people. Police strongly appeal to its management to work with the police on this matter,” he said.
