One of the key players of One Link Pacifica, Gerald Tauhou, has been arrested for evading his court trials.
He was arrested at his home village in Small Malaita following a tipoff to police.
Assistant Commissioner National Capital and Crime Prevention Simpson Pogeava said Taouhou was arrested for evading his court trials and in connection with One Link Money Scheme.
Pogeava revealed that a team from Auki had conducted the patrol on January 30th resulting in his arrest. Â He is now detained in custody.
 Pogeava said there was a warrant of arrest for the One-Link boss after he evaded his court cases and also matters relating to the money scheme.
One Link Missing Money
Pogeava reiterated that the missing One Link money is now before the court and the officer implicated is being suspended.
More than $300,000.00 exhibit money had gone missing from the RSIPF Exhibit Room at the Rove Police Headquarters in Honiara. Police recovered the money during its investigation into the One-Link Pacifica scheme that has been going on since April 2020.
