A man died after he was struck with a bush-knife at the back of his leg at Tawatana in Makira, police reveal today.
Supervising Deputy Commissioner Operations Joseph Manelugu told journalists today that following an argument, a 31-year-old man struck a bush-knife at the back leg of a 40-year-old male.
The victim was rushed to the Tawatana clinic but died later.
The alleged murder incident happened on 17th December.
Manelugu said the suspect was arrested on the same day and is in custody awaiting trial.
