ITSSI and WITSI in Melbourne for the Thought Leader's Summit

The Information Technology Society Solomon Islands(ITSSI) and Women in Technology Solomon Islands(WITSI) are in Melbourne, Australia to attend Reimagination 2019. Billed as the Thought Leaders Summit, the program is hosted by the Australian Computer Society (ACS). The delegation lead by ITSSI President Marlon Houkarawa includes members of his executive as well as leaders and representatives from WITSI, the women/girls in IT component of ITSSI. The current interim WITSI President is Alice Alisae-Aote’e. ITSSI is also exploring greater collaboration with ACS with the primary aim being capacity building and advancing common IT initiatives to fulfill the society’s goals.
