Minister of Health and Medical Services Culwick Togamana has expressed deep concern that people are now carelessly moving around town and in offices without face masking, social distancing and hand sanitizing.

Speaking last night in his daily address on COVID-19 Updates, Togamana said there are also shops not strictly implementing the requirements of face masks and vaccination cards before customers could be allowed to enter their shops.

He added that public transport providers are also not adhering to the social distancing measures set for them to follow.

Togamana said communities and individuals are becoming relaxed with persons now freely roaming around town, moving from one household to another with life, as if life has returned back to as normal as pre-COVID.

He added that there are also those who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have tested positive, but are not isolating themselves at home and continue to mingle with others from their households and outside.
