Former journalist now private businessman Richard Toke has been elected as the new president of Solomon Islands Archery yesterday.

Toke who is the president of Guadalcanal Archery will lead the organization in its preparations to host the Pacific Games 2023 in Honiara as well as hosting the games here.

Archery is of the Pacific Games sports.

The other members of the executive include: Raymond Kafo of Burns of Creek Archery Club, who is the secretary and Jessie Konofia as the treasury.

The other ordinary members come are: Ali Fafale (Choviri Club), Winke (Honiara), Roylee Bella (Woodford Club), Roselyn (Honiara High Club), Moses Nadu (St Nicholas Club). The others are to come from: St John Club, White River and Raffle Ridge club.
