Two new Ministers of the Democratic Coalition Government for Advancement (DCGA) have taken the Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Office in the presence of the Governor General His Excellency Rt. Rev. David Vunagi during a swearing in ceremony today morning.

They are;

  1. Member of Parliament for Temotu Nende Constituency – Hon. Commins Mewa, MP; and
  2. Member of Parliament for South Guadalcanal- Hon. Rollen Seleso, MP.

Hon. Mewa sworns as the new Minister for the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Department and Hon. Selso as the new Minister for the Ministry of Provincial Government and Institutional Strenghtening.

Hon. Mewa was reshuffled from the Ministry of Provincial Government and Institutional Strengthening to replace former Minister for Education Hon. Moffat Fugui.

The DCGA is committed to the delivery of ongoing and prospective policy priorities in the interests of national unity and stability, lasting peace and economic advancement.
