Commissioner Manelusi applaud successful Joint Operation

The Correctional Service Solomon Islands (CSSI) Commissioner Gabriel Manelusi has applauded and commended the joint operation by the Police Response Team (PRT) of RSIPF and Emergency Response Group (ERG) of CSSI for apprehending inmate Frank Firimolea and Dilo Faiga at the main entry junction road to Burns Creek market at approximately 15 February 2020.

Commissioner Manelusi commended the PRT and ERG officers for their tireless effort and commitments which result to successful recapture of the two fugitives.

Commissioner also thanked the Solomon Island Christian Association (SICA), Solomon Islands Full Gospel Association (SIFGA), Church Mission Organisation and Public for their prayers and supports to recapture the two inmates.

The two fugitives now in Rove Central Correctional Centre and placed under the special management unit for further dealings.

The CSSI Commissioner and his Executive do register words of thanks to his colleague RSIPF Commissioner and Executives for the successful execution of Operation Man Hunt.
