Mangau urges communities to report any criminal activities

The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) reminds the public who reside within the Emergency Zone from Poha to Aligetor Bridge to report any form of criminal issues occuring in the community during COVID-19 transmission situation.

Police Commissioner Mostyn Mangau says, “If you are experiencing criminal Issues such as theft, assault, break-in and domestic violence in your community, please call police or emergency patrols or go to your nearest police station and ask for help.”

 “Safety and security of one-another and the community is everyone’s responsibility, especially during this challenging time when we need to work together as a community to support each other,” he said.

Mangau said it is important if you hear or know of anyone is a victim of any criminal issue to call for help.

Call Police on 23666 or free toll 999 if you need police assistance.

“Let us work together with the government through the Ministry of Health to fight against Covid-19,” says Mangau.
