Robo said those suspects including eight males and six females which total up to 14 were arrested. All suspects were released on strict bail conditions and will return for further dealings next week.

He said this is just the beginning of the many police planned operations as part of the Green and Safe game strategy leading up to the Pacific Games in November 2023.

Robo said more of such operations will be coming up so “please my good residence we kindly encourage you to stay away from such activity. Police will raid and arrest at any time for those who will be involved in illegal gambling.”

“I would like to convey my appreciation and acknowledgement to everyone who has been involved in the successful outcome of the operation,” Robo said.
