BRED Bank Solomon has opened another Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) in East Honiara. The new ATM is located at King George Sixth in front of the new Sullivan’s outlet, directly opposite the main Pacific Games stadium.
CEO of BRED Bank Solomon, Owen Thomson said, “BRED Bank Solomon continues to explore opportunities to provide convenient and accessible banking services to its customers and Solomon Islanders as a whole.”
“We recognize the need for another ATM in East Honiara and have been scouting for suitable ATM sites. We are certain that this ATM will benefit both BRED and non-BRED customers. We believe with the ATM being across from the Pacific Games facilities, it will be well used.”
“BRED Bank Solomon is also focusing on a major expansion of our electronic services, with many EFTPOS machines and QR codes being installed around Honiara city, for the benefit of Honiara residents and Solomon Islands visitors alike,” Thomson said.
Like other BRED ATMs, this new ATM accepts VISA cards from local banks, MasterCard, and other International Cards. It is available 24/7, allowing customers to check their account balances and withdraw up to SBD8000 per day, in multiples of SBD2000.
Mr. Thomson also acknowledges the effort of stakeholders, Neil Constantine, Managing Director of Sullivans and Corey Chapman, C Cube Construction Managing Director who have contributed to make this project a success.
“This is a result of collaborative efforts between several stakeholders. We are also very proud of our local BRED Bank IT team who have installed this machine with limited assistance compared to previous ATM installations.”
BRED Bank Solomon is anticipating additional ATMs to be installed later this year.
Currently, BRED Bank Solomon has other ATMs located at GTL (Lunga), AJ City Mall (Lunga) BRED Bank Haus (Kukum), Pacific Casino (Kukum), Honiara City Council (Point Cruz), Point Cruz Branch (Commonwealth Street), LEL (Point Cruz), Solomon Post (Point Cruz), Coral Sea Casino, and Gaoming Building (Rove).
