The process for collecting the payments for Covid19 withdrawals from SINPF will be as follows:

  1. Member(s) will receive a SMS from SMS number 673 once their application has been
    approved and their payment is ready for collection
  2. For Members with Bank Accounts, they will receive the SMS from 673 that will inform them
    that their payment has been made to their respective Bank account
    a. They DO NOT need to come to payment location
    b. In case they have received the SMS but the amount has not been received at their Bank account, they must check the bank account the next day โ€“ as sometimes, the Banks take a little time to process the payment into their account
  3. For members that do not have Bank accounts, the SMS message from 673 will contain the
    following information:
    a. The member ID number & withdrawal reference number
    b. The date when payment can be collected
    c. The payment location where the payment can be picked up from
    d. The time period when the member should be at the payment location to collect the payment. There will be 2 time periods, Morning 09 am to 12 pm & Afternoon 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm. The SMS will inform the member which time period they have been allocated to
  4. The members MUST bring their Member ID card along with the mobile in which the SMS was received. This is IMPORTANT for the member to follow, as it will
    a. Facilitate the payment process
    b. Will make the payment verification fast
    c. Will involve less time for the members and for everyone involved
  5. What if Member does not have a photo ID but has received the SMS from 673 informing them that their application has been approved and their payment is ready for collection? In such cases:
    a. The member must come with the mobile in which they received the SMS from 673
    b. The member must bring another photo ID (employers ID, passport, driving license
    etc)
  6. What if Member does not have a ID and does not have a mobile number? In such cases:
    a. The Member must call the SINPF toll free customer call centre number 673
    b. They can then find out the date and time and location where they can collect their payment
    c. They MUST bring with them another form of photo ID (employers ID, passport,
    driving license etc)
  7. Members are requested to ONLY come to a payment location ONLY when they receive the
    SMS notification
  8. AT the payment locations, members are requested to follow the procedures as laid out at
    the payment location and practice social distancing
  9. For any doubt or clarification, members are requested to call the SINPF toll free customer
    call centre number 673.
