“The late Alebua has served the people of Guadalcanal and this country with pride and honour. He was one of our pioneer leaders, a well respected individual,” he said.

“I on behalf of the parliamentary opposition group, our members and our families, we share with the people of Guadalcanal, families, friends and relatives on the loss of this great leader. May his soul rest in eternal peace with our good Lord,” the Opposition Leader Hon Wale said in his condolence message.
