On the 20th August, Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Approved Employer, IComply, hosted a Sports Day of Futsal and Volleyball for its workers at the Lockyer Valley Sports and AquaLc Centre.
IComply who currently employ over 200 workers from Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, and Vanuatu see the importance sports play in the welfare of its pacific island workers, it says in a statement today.
The Sports day for IComply workers based in Toowoomba involved, other seasonal workers in Toowoomba, local Solomon Islands diaspora in GaSon and Brisbane.
Soltuna supported the sports day with ten 12 packs of 100g chilli tuna, tuna in olive oil, and tuna in spring water which was shared amongst all involved at the end of day.
IComply is looking to do another recruitment drive later this year in the Solomons.
