Solomon Airlines has recognised 15 staff members for their outstanding work performance and positive contributions to the national carrier.
Each of the staff were presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by Solomon Airlines CEO Mr Gus Kraus last week.
“2023 is an extremely busy year for Solomon Airlines as we expand our operations, commission a second international aircraft into commercial service and develop our partnerships with Air Vanuatu
and other Pacific partners in the region, “said Mr Kraus.
“We are also preparing to welcome onboard, the influx of international visitors who will fly here for the Pacific Games.
“Behind the scenes this involves a lot of work by airline staff across the board.
“We acknowledge that Solomon Airlines could not achieve its aims without the pride, engagement and energy of our people. They are lifting Solomon Airlines to where it belongs as a resilient airline and to remain the national flag carrier of Solomon Islands.

2. Bradley Pitakaji – manage training, company properties and HR duties efficiently
3. Collin Toa – reliable and faithful staff member in the Cargo Department
4. Adrian Lulei – taking further steps outside normal responsibilities to address long outstanding tasks
5. Francis Lilo – commitment to customer service delivery and willingness to work additional hours
6. Ewan Koga – commitment to international and domestic office relocation
7. Darryl Otota – punctuality to work and helpfulness in the Engineering Department
8. Augustine Baura – reliable and making efforts to complete tasks on time
9. Francina Delaiverata – highest IE ticket sales made in the last 6 months
10.Daniel Bugotu – ensure successful completion of 2023 IOSA audit
11.Sean Te’o – Project Manager of the new Airbus A320 CEO, H4-SAL
12.Edna Tapuika – exceptional performance at the Solomon Airlines Brisbane office from June to July
13.Marketing Team – successfully coordinating the 2nd Airbus Inaugural Flight Program
14.Mike Wells – proactively and reliably assisting the International Flight Operations Department
15.Hernandia Zoleveke – invaluable support and dedicated efforts to the CEO
