Police says they have not received any complaints against alleged con-woman

Police has revealed that they have not received any formal complaints against an alleged con-woman in Honiara who owes taxi owners huge amount of money.The woman’s photo has been widely circulated in the social-media after a taxi fleet posted on its facebook page that the woman allegedly conned one of its drivers and left a huge unpaid bill. Following the post, many others too had raised similar concerns against the woman including a paid accommodation, which she also allegedly conned.When asked yesterday whether police had received any complaints against the woman, Commissioner of Police (Ag) Mostyn Mangau said no complaints were filed against her to RSIPF.When pressed by one of the journalists that a complaint was filed with one of the police stations in Honiara, Mangau also stated RSIPF had not still received any complaints.According to police anyone who wishes to raise a complaint to their office can do so by providing details of the allegation especially facts that can be tested in court.
