Vaevaso said other smaller UXOs were also removed from the site.

He said his officers are currently working closely with the Provincial Government as per the safety of the UXOs.

Taro is rated A in terms of  UXO meaning – there are a lot of UXOs on the island.

Vaevaso appeals for the people on the island to take extra care and to report any sightings of any UXOs to the EOD team now on the ground.
