For the second time in running, the Central Honiara Constituency has recorded more voters than any other constituencies in the country. Going by the data released by the Electoral Commission, Central Honiara is by far the biggest constituency in terms of registered voters.
In SBM’s exclusive interview with the Chief Electoral Commissioner in our latest Magazine in the CEO’s Interview, Jasper H. Anisi revealed that there is an increase of nearly 100,000 new registrants for 2023 registration exercise.
With the NGE date yet to be announced by His Excellency Sir David Vunagi, this election will by far the biggest in terms of voters’ registration.
Though the final numbers were confirmed last week, data released by Anisi showed the three city constituencies in the top five.
So here are the numbers of voters registered for 2024 NGE for the country’s top five in terms of electors.
