Four people were announced as the recipients of the 2025 King’s Birthday Honours and Awards last week. They include two males and two females.

Governor General Sir David Tiva Kapu in announcing the recipients stated that the 2025 King’s Birthday Honours and Awards was approved by His Majesty, The King.

They are:

Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE):

Ms. Catherine Teuna – For services to the Correctional Service and Community.

Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE):

Mr. Keir Preedy – For services to the community, to commerce and to telecommunications.

Mr. Henry Churchill Teho – For services to the community and the Rights and Welfare of the Indigenous peoples of the country.

British Empire Medal (BEM):

Ms. Dorothy Siru – For services to the correctional service and Community.
