Minister of Finance and Treasury Hon. Harry Kuma, MP on Wednesday 27 May visited the new office of the re-established Development Bank of Solomon Islands (DBSI).
This is ahead of its official opening scheduled for Friday next week.
Speaking during his visit, Hon. Kuma acknowledged the commitment and hardwork put into the resetting up of the bank.
Hon. Kuma also acknowledged the staff of the DBSI for their commitment and interest to work for the bank.
He further expressed the significance of abiding to ethics and good governance as staff of the bank.
The visit involves a tour to the customer service center and the bank’s main office at the Anthonuy Saru building.
The resetting up of the DBSI is part of the Democratic Coalition Government for Advancement (DCGA)’s priority policies.
The DCGA is fully committed to the delivery of its policies in the interest of economic stability, national peace and progress.
