Final listing of Constituency Scholarships put together

A final listing of the Constituency Scholarship recipients has been put together by the National Training Unit.

There has been growing concerns on the delay of the scholarships, which the Ministry of Education had earlier promised that the final listing was to be released some three weeks ago. However, with tertiary institutions now about to start their 2025 academic year, the ministry confirms that the listing has been finalized.

When asked about the latest state of play of the Constituency Scholarships, Permanent Secretary of Education and Human Resources Development, Dr. Franco Rodie said: “The selection process involves the concurrence of MPs, and they were given a list of the recipients two weeks ago.”

He adds: “Some of them returned the candidates list staring last week.”

Dr Rodie confirmed that the director (NTU) and staff are responsible for putting up the final list.
