Chef de mission welcomes Gov’t support for athletes

Chef de mission of Team Solomon, Fay Ghemu has expressed her appreciation to the National Government for their support to our athletes before and during the Pacific Games.

According to Ghemu, the National Government through National Institute of Sport (SINIS) has expressed its commitment to support our athletes in their preparation for the games.

Chairperson of the NHA, Dr. Jimmie Rodgers pledged the support during a meeting with the Chef de mission this week.

Ghemu stated, “The Government, through SINIS will fund the competition uniforms for the athletes and will also assist with transport allowances towards their trainings and preparations.”

Ghemu thanked the Government through the National Hosting Authority for their support towards the upcoming competition.

Team Solomon believes in one dream, one team, under one flag of Solomon Islands.
