BSP ATMs’ vandalised overnight in Honiara

Three Bank South Pacific (BSP) ATM have been vandalised overnight at the Heritage Park Branch in Honiara.

Pictures shared by BSP showed the machines bearing damages to their screens following the damage.

On its Facebook page, BSP informed its customers that three ATM at the Heritage Branch were vandalised last night and will be out of action for some time.

“We apologise for the inconvenience. Replacement parts will be ordered Monday,” the bank, said.

SBM understands that CCTVs are mounted on the machines.  SBM further understands that police have been alerted on the matter.

Many customers have gone to the social media to express their anger against the attackers who damaged the ATMs. BSP has the largest bank network in the country with a huge stretching around our provinces.
