Bluewater partners with SINIS to promote drinking water for athletes

Honiara, 10^th October 2022 – Solomon Islands National Institute of Sport (SINIS) and Bluewater Limited formed a partnership upon signing an agreement of in-kind investment to promote healthy drinking water and personal health critical for athletes’ performance.

The partnership signed today, Monday 10th October 2022 will see SINIS liaise with the Bluewater team throughout to develop a SINIS Snack Pack scheme and as the corporate partner and SINIS program exclusive water supplier for a period of 16 months.

“Being hydrated will help athletes excel at their peak performance, and we are excited to assist and be able to motivate, inspire and participate in the development of our athletes,” Bluewater Financial Controller Raymond Sabio expressed.

“It’s a pleasure for us to work with SINIS on these, and we are looking forward to more great initiatives and opportunities to support sports development.

SINIS Executive Director Aaron Alsop commended the company for recognizing the importance and needs of the health and fitness regime.

“Accessing clean water in a training environment is critical to the athletes’ success and health. We are very grateful for the support to provide water within our training environment here at SINIS and for other programs we run including our athlete snack pack which will now be able to support through the contribution of our partners,” says Alsop.

“Bluewater team understood the need we have around ensuring the athletes’ health is taken care of and we are also very mindful of the environment not only are athletes more likely to drink water throughout the day but also have less impact on the environment by avoiding disposable plastic bottles – and Bluewater is doing to look at the reusable and self-cleaning water bottle.

Bluewater to provide partnership rates for all purchases across Bluewater products, and grant permission for SINIS to manage sales of Bluewater products to national federations for use at external sports events and training. Additionally, give authority to SINIS to extend the corporate partnership rates on Bluewater products with these purchases.

Bluewater deliverables include; manual water pump, water dispensers, fridges and 15 x 22L (5 gallon) water containers per week.
