The success of the Busy Signal concert on Saturday 12th July 2025 has sent a clear and resounding message to the nation: Solomon Islanders support genuine investors, and the people are ready for positive change.

In a statement today, Local Authorized Representative for SI Group JSC, McFaddean Aoraunisaka said the crowd of over 50,000 citizens who turned out in unity, peace and excitement to celebrate a world-class event—made possible through the generosity and vision of Solution International Joint Stock Company (SI Group JSC) of Vietnam—represents the true spirit of this country.

It is now beyond doubt: SI Group JSC has the confidence and support of the Solomon Islands public.Unfortunately, there remains a loud but tiny group of individuals—mostly hiding behind fake profiles and bitter narratives on social media—who continue to spew negativity against anything and everything good. These same voices have no track record of contribution to national progress. They have built nothing, offered nothing, and yet always find fault when others rise to build, contribute, and offer hope,” the statement, said.

He added it is this toxic cycle of negativity that must end.

Aoraunisaka, the local authorized representative for SI Group JSC, has called out this destructive attitude and reminded the country of a powerful truth: “Solomon Islands cannot develop with negative vibration. We need positive vibration to move forward. Bad vibe is bad. Good vibe is what the soul, the land, and the nation wants. This is a positive vibration construct. And SI Group JSC is a vessel of that positivity.”

He added, “These few negative voices are not only embarrassing themselves, they are hurting the reputation of Solomon Islands. They are damaging investor confidence. They are standing in the way of our collective aspiration for economic transformation. What they are doing is not critique—it is sabotage.”

Aoraunisaka said the facts speak for themselves adding SI Group JSC, alongside local partners, invested in and delivered the most successful international concert in Solomon Islands history—completely free to the public. They did not ask for applause or praise. They asked only for the chance to contribute, to build, and to show Solomon Islands a new possibility.

That vision is not limited to music. On Monday 15th July, SI Group’s Chairman, Mr. Phan Nhat Minh, and the Chairman of GrowMax—one of Vietnam’s leading agribusinesses—met with Hon. Minister Bradley Tovosia, Minister for Fisheries and Marine Resources.

The Minister was not only impressed, he was inspired. He said: “This is the type of investment I have been looking for throughout my political life,” the Minister declared. “We must not let this opportunity pass us. We must embrace it. The critics are few. The supporters are many.”

GrowMax is set to be the first anchor investor under SI Group’s Global Business Mobilization model. Their focus is shrimp farming for export, with investment in local processing, skills transfer, and long-term industry development. These are not short-term opportunists. These are seasoned professionals with a record of international success.

After their meeting, the delegation held consultations with the Ministry’s Aquaculture Division. The feedback from technical staff was overwhelmingly positive, and both parties look forward to a strong partnership built on mutual respect and shared goals.

SI Group JSC does not operate in the shadows. It works openly, transparently, and with local participation at the centre. The public has seen this. The Government is starting to see this. The only ones blind to the truth are those too bitter to accept that foreign investment can be ethical, respectful, and people-focused.

“Let us move forward as a country. Let us not listen to the noise of the few who benefit from confusion and stagnation,” Mr. Aoraunisaka said. “Let us tune our national frequency to good vibes. Because it is good vibes that build bridges, attract opportunities, and uplift a nation.”

Solomon Islands deserves better than fear and falsehood. It deserves partners who believe in its potential and are willing to prove that belief through action. SI Group JSC is one of those partners, and the Office of their local representative calls on all responsible citizens, leaders, and institutions to give support where it is due.

Let us not chase away those who come with open hands and open hearts. Let us walk boldly into a future built on respect, creativity, and positive energy.”
