    Public Affairs Coordinator
     Would you like to help represent New Zealand in Solomon Islands?
     Are you are a great communicator?
     Are you passionate about social and economic development?

    The New Zealand High Commission is seeking an enthusiastic and confident Public Affairs Coordinator to support New Zealand’s partnership with Solomon Islands.
    In this wide-ranging position, you will plan and manage events and activities designed to raise New Zealand’s profile. You will lead on the High Commission’s social media programme and work closely with Solomon Islands media outlets.

    You will be a key part of the High Commission team, working with a range of internal and external audiences and helping to represent New Zealand at events.

    Your excellent activity and relationship management skills, together with very good writing and speaking ability in English as well as Pijin, will be key to your success. It is likely that you will have a professional background in communications or development, but exceptional recent graduates may be considered. The ability to help ‘tell New Zealand’s story’ in Solomon Islands is the key requirement.

    Annual starting salary will depend on skills and experience.
