    About the Program

    Australia’s Solomon Islands Resource Facility (ASIRF) works across the Australian bilateral aid program, as well as provides support to the Australian High Commission administrations in Honiara. The in-country ASIRF Management Support Unit (MSU) operates in a complex and evolving context, providing operational services to enable DFAT to meet its goals and objectives in Solomon Islands. The range of support includes, but is not limited to:

    • procurement and contract management of technical assistance in Solomon Islands and remotely, and support to performance management across all sector programs (including economic growth, health, education, gender)
    • provision of support services (including logistics and security management) for Australian Government’s deployees and technical advisers strategic advice, management and reporting, including program management (education),infrastructure technical management, monitoring and evaluation,
    • strategic communications financial management and grant management.

    Expression of Interest

    As part of ASIRF’s ongoing localisation strategy, ASIRF is updating its list of preferred suppliers. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from businesses in Solomon Islands, that are interested in working with ASIRF on upcoming projects. ASIRF is interested in engaging with all suppliers in the following sector:

    • Construction Works
    • Electrical Services
    • Telecommunication Services
    • Property Maintenance Services
    • Design and Printing Services
    • Advertising
    • Transport Services, including fuel supply
    • Short Term Accommodation
    • Cleaning Services
    • IT Services
    • Media and Communication
    • Catering Services
    • Design and Architecture
    • Auditing
    • Pest Controls
    • Security Services
    • Stationary Suppliers
    • Read Estate
    • Meeting Materials and Furniture Suppliers
    • Swimming Pool Servicing Services
    • Rubbish Collection
    • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Air Condition Service
    • Surveying Services
    • Land Recording Services

    About your company

    To meet the minimum requirements, your company should have the following:

    • Current Company Haus registration
    • Company Profile including organisation history, operational and technical expertise and evidence of previous work from the past five years
    • Relevant qualifications and certificates
    • Financial Statement of Records
    • References from previous work
    • Honiara City Council License- if baed in Honiara

    Desirable requirements

    • Insurance coverage for professional liability, professional indemnity and workers compensation

    ASIRF will provide in-house training to suitable companies to support them to understand ASIRF and Cardno’s procurement and compliance requirements.
