A one day workshop aiming to map out pathway for the implementation of a new project known as Solomon Islands Access To Justice (A2J) will he held on Thursday 28th at the Heritage Park Hotel in Honiara.
The inception workshop will be attended by various groups within the justice system and other stakeholders, to map out a pathway for the implementation of A2J.
Funded by the Australian Government via DFAT, the project will be implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the Public Solicitors Office.
“Many Solomon Islanders living in rural areas have no access to the formal justice system therefore this project is being developed to bridge this gap,” says UNDP.
