No petitions yet at the high court

With just over a week to go before the deadline close, the high court confirms that it has yet to receive any petitions.

Just before 3pm this afternoon, the High Court, said they had not received any petitions.

“We have yet to receive any petitions,” an official of the Court told SBMOnline.

The 2024 joint election results were gazetted on April 2024 and anyone wishing to file a petition must do that within a 30-days period.

In 2019 following the National General Election, a total of 29 petition cases were filed against the wining MPs.
