All workers of the King Solomon Hotel will remain employees of the hotel, assured the new owners yesterday.
Chairman of the SINPF Sir Dr Jimmie Rodgers and the Chairman of the O’Neill Remington Group, Hon. Peter O’Neil confirmed this whilst denying reports that they would be sacked following the take-over.
“I want to assure that all staff here will continue to work here,” said O’Neill.
He further dismissed media reports saying information as such is a wrong perception “our number one priority is to look after our staff.”
Chairman of the SINPF Dr Rodgers also reiterated O’Neill’s assurance to the staff that they would remain with the hotel and not terminated as reported.
More than 20 workers have worked under the old ownership at the King Solomon Hotel Ltd and will continue on under the new joint ownership.
