Makira commits to align policies with National Government

Makira Provincial Government of Unity, Reform and Advancement is committed to align its government’s to that of the National Government’s.

This was according to the Premier of Makira Province, Hon. Julian Makaa during his courtey visit to the Prime Minister this week.

Hon. Makaa stated that whilst there maybe challenges faced by the Provincial Government, he believes the only way forward is to align his government’s policy with the policies of the national government.

Meanwhile, Deputy Premier Hon. Joe Takeli further reiterated that the only way for the provincial government to achieve its development objectives is to work together with the National Government.

In response, the Prime Minister Hon. Manasseh Sogavare, MP commended the Makira Provincial Government for the committment to work together with the Government.

Hon. Sogavare also reaffirmed his government’s committment to work together with the Makira Provincial Executive for the delivery of much needed developments.

Hon. Makaa also conveyed greetings on behalf of the people of Makira Province to the Prime Minister.
