THE Solomon Islands Basketball Federation (SIBF) has acknowledged Advanced Technologies Ltd for the sponsorship of $17,200 for the High School Basketball Competition 2024 (HSBC24) prizes.

The sponsorship is for all prizes for the competition.

Chairman of the HSBC24 Mr Jefferson Patovaki has sincerely thanked Advanced Technologies Ltd owners Hudson and Helen Wakio for their response to HSBC’s request.

Mr Patovaki said this is welcoming and encouraging news from Advanced Technologies a locally owned business.

“This will be a boost for the participating schools and athletes,” he said.

The HSBC Chair thanked Advanced Technologies Ltd for recognising and investing in the youth development of basketball.

“SIBF through the HSBC is grateful for the kind hearted response by our very own local company,” Mr Patovaki said.

Advanced Technologies owner Hudson Wakio said the company is happy to be supporting high school students’ youth development of basketball.

Mr Wakio said Advanced Technologies Ltd believes in promoting sports development amongst our youths.

“We are pleased to support our young athletes and these are development programs young people will engage in that will positively impact their wellbeing,” he said.
