Advanced brand expands as Harbour View Lounge opens

One of the popular local business names is expanding its brand last night with the founder Hudson Wakio promising to deliver the very best as they venture into a new sector.

The Advanced Technology Harbour View Lodge was opened with a bang, promising to deliver a space for conferences/meetings, restaurant, bar and an open space where Honiara people can just relax, enjoy a drink or food and appreciate the sea breeze at Guzo Point, in the Bahai area.

Wakio, one of the leading indigenous entrepreneurs told SBM that his new business gives another dimension and option for visitors and Solomon Islanders apart from hotels and restaurants.

“There are several areas that we want to do it differently, one is we provide an affordable, a safe environment for people to come and enjoy.

“Our place will be clean and of top quality because our people deserve it. If you go to other countries’ you’ll see good and quality places and services and that’s what we want to bring home to our people.

If someone does not bring these kinds of facilities and changes then our ordinary people would think what we have now is the standard. No, I believe our people deserve better and that’s what we are giving to them. We deserve improvements to the current services that we are providing to our people” he told SBM.

“As we come into the service today, there is someone who is already in the business thinking of improving their current service they provide, which is good for our people,” said Wakio.

He said he builds the business for Solomon Islanders and hope they would support it just as they do other to businesses.

Meanwhile one of the iconic features of the new business is free wifii for users either conferencing, meetings and those wishing to eat out or just enjoy a drink and enjoy the sea view.
