CAASI wants all drones to be registered

Civil Aviation Authority of Solomon Islands (CASI) is encouraging all drone owners to register their equipment in compliance with law.

Chairman of CAASI and Attorney General made the appeal this week when opening the National Aviation Symposium.

The population of drones has increased significantly in the country given its usefulness in multiple tasks from photography to surveying and policing just to name a few.

Muria said CASSI as the regulator wants all drones to be registered and certified.

In that regard, CASSI encourages drone owners to register their drones in compliance with the regulation.
