“I thank the CEO of the National Referral Hospital Dr. Malefoasi for the call and as Chairman for the Health Division, I have informed the Director of Health and nurse in charge of HCC clinics to take this into consideration,” said Aiwosuga.

“It was also an agenda in our meeting and my officers will look into it in terms of availability of man-power, shifts, and how best we can move forward with the plan with our clinics,” he added.

Meanwhile Aiwosuga said the Health Division will be working with the Planning Division and Commissioner of Lands for a proposed site to build a new clinic at Panataina ward by next year.

He further acknowledges the Ministry of Health for providing staff within the clinics and said his Division is looking to work closely with the Ministry to improve health service within the city.
